Der Verein "Hanseatic Help" ist 2015 aus der Kleiderkammer für Geflüchtete in den Messehallen hervorgegangen. Der Verein nimmt täglich Sachspenden an, um sie zu sortieren und anschließend an Geflüchtete, Obdachlose und andere Bedürftige auszuliefern.

Hanseatic Help ist euch aus bestehenden Kooperationen bestens bekannt. Der Verein leistet seit 2015 ganz unkompliziert Hilfe in Hamburg, dem Umland, bundesweit und international. In der Kleiderkammer werden Kleider- und Hygienespenden angenommen, sortiert und weitergeleitet – bedarfsgerecht und kostenfrei an mehr als 300 Einrichtungen für Menschen in Notlagen. So versorgt und unterstützt der Verein u.a. geflüchtete und obdachlose Menschen, Familien, Alleinerziehende und Kinder, Frauenhäuser, Senior:innen und Studierende mit Kleidung und anderen Artikeln des täglichen Bedarfs.

Hilfsgüter, die im Norden nicht benötigt werden, liefert Hanseatic Help in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Hilfsorganisationen in Krisenregionen wie Syrien, Irak, Griechenland oder Osteuropa. Wer pragmatische, unbürokratische Unterstützung braucht, wird so durch die Soziallogistik des Vereins versorgt. Unzählige Menschen konnten auf diesem Wege bereits erstversorgt und mit Kleidung und Hygieneartikeln ausgestattet werden. Das Motto #einfachmachen steht dabei stets im Vordergrund – egal ob soziale Spendenlogistik, soziale Räume oder soziale Integration.

Nach einer Hallenführung und Informationen zu aktuellen Projekten des Vereins packt ihr je nach Bedarf in der Kleiderkammer von Hanseatic Help tatkräftig mit an. Die Aufgaben richten sich nach den aktuellen Bedarfen und der Personalsituation vor Ort. Hilfe bei der Sortierung an den Stationen, Registrierung der Spenden im Logistiksystem, Packen von Bestellungen für Bedürftige und Organisation sowie ggf. die Beladung eines internationalen HIlfstransports für Krisenregionen stehen je nach aktueller Lage auf der Agenda.

What is it all about?

The „Hanseatic Help“ association emerged from the clothing store for refugees in the exhibition halls in 2015. The association accepts donations in kind every day in order to sort them and then deliver them to refugees, the homeless and other people in need.

Hanseatic Help is well known to you from existing collaborations. The association has been providing uncomplicated help in Hamburg, the surrounding area, nationwide and internationally since 2015. Clothing and hygiene donations are accepted, sorted and forwarded in the clothing store – as needed and free of charge to more than 300 facilities for people in need. The association provides and supports refugees and homeless people, families, single parents and children, women’s shelters, senior citizens and students with clothing and other everyday items.

In cooperation with other aid organizations, Hanseatic Help delivers relief supplies that are not needed in the north to crisis regions such as Syria, Iraq, Greece or Eastern Europe. Anyone who needs pragmatic, unbureaucratic support is thus supplied by the association’s social logistics. Countless people have already been provided with initial supplies and equipped with clothing and hygiene articles in this way. The motto #simplify is always at the forefront – whether it’s social donation logistics, social spaces or social integration.

After a tour of the hall and information on the association’s current projects, you can lend a hand in the Hanseatic Help clothing store as required. The tasks depend on the current needs and the staff situation on site. Help with sorting at the stations, registering donations in the logistics system, packing orders for people in need and organizing and, if necessary, loading an international aid transport for crisis regions are on the agenda depending on the current situation.
